When you are not with me
My mood goes from happy to sad
And I don’t find a reason to smile.

My heart feels as though it has lost its will to beat
I find myself watching the clock tick slower and slower
I feel an unbearable emptiness without you here by my side

 

The void in my life is something only you can fill
My life’s joy comes from you alone
Nothing short of being with you will suffice

You are my life, my love, my everything
No one in this world can compare or even stand a chance to replace you
With you by my side, my numbness turns into a smile.

Holding her closely I kissed her gently on her lips
Wishing to have that kiss forever
Tears rolled down the cheek
Filled with emotions which I could never speak.

Knowing she won’t be mine anymore
I gave her a warm hug.
Kissing her on her forehead
Wishing I had her forever and gave up the world instead.

 

Staring at each other’s eyes, feeling so helpless
Wishing to hold every moment passing by, trying to stop time.
Had a lot of things to say
But words felt short with the feeling of us being torn away.

I bade her the last goodbye
Watching her as she walked away, and finally mixing with the crowd where I can never find her again.
I knew she was gone forever and I can see her face never again
Wish I could be with her, but she never came back in my arms ever again.

I gave you as much as I could of me
You were in my thoughts and in my dreams
You captured my heart and soul
You meant the world to me.

Lying awake with my head on my pillow, so restless that I can’t sleep
I can’t endure the pain and the thoughts running deep
The thoughts of you won’t go away, no matter how hard I try
Knowing that we were meant to be together, makes me do nothing but cry.

I don’t feel like myself anymore, I feel numb, lifeless and don’t seem to care
I need you to bring me back to life, to hold you and my emotions with you to share
If only you knew what I am going through, it would crush you to pieces
The pain I feel inside has been lingering, and it seems like it never ceases.

I need to get myself back to the way I used to be, what they call a “Normal” life
Still buried are those days when I was carefree, loving and full of life
Its hard to say goodbye, so with a fake smile I try move on to make things fine,

Dear Cindy, 
               
             Being recruited for this job was the best thing that has happened to my life lately. It brought me close to you. I am so much myself when I am with you. I cherish every moment I spend with you. Things that you do when you are with me, I love every bit of them. The way you pinch me, beat me and then give a bright yet naughty smile just makes my day. 

      
       I know, at times I am rude with you and I do hurt you, but doing that hurts me more than it does to you. I know I have not been able to be the perfect boyfriend, but you are perfect for me in every aspect.  May be I have not been able to express my love towards you the way you always want me to, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love you. I know, perhaps I would never be able to love you as much as you love me, but still I love you with all my heart, with all that I have….and I promise this love for you wont ever change.

Its too late now to wonder why, you should have got a clue, when the pain I was going through was staring you right in the face.You obviously could not see the tears behind my painted smile.You chose to be in your own little world and think everything was bed of roses. It was rosy but it was full of thorns. I constantly got scratched and nicked everywhere I turned.

      Day after day your screaming and yelling became a part of the norm. Your words made me feel like I was a piece of wood being chopped by an axe. You came close to unknowingly destroy me but I wasn't going down like that. Every day I woke up with the hope to see you love me back as you did. And everyday with my attempt to achieve that love and closeness from you I kept loosing you more and more.

    You should have given me the love and respect that I always craved for, and treated me like before. But time has passed to dwell on all these things you could have done …

                                   perhaps then I would have never left!

Today I happened to wake up before you did

I saw the sunbeam gently reflect off your face

I realize I am still sleepy

I rest my weary head and you smile at me and put your head on my chest

I feel so content and at peace sleeping beside you

The only way I can fall asleep is to have you nearby
