Wish you were the same…

Dear love,

Its too late now to wonder why, you should have got a clue, when the pain I was going through was staring you right in the face. You obviously could not see the tears behind my painted smile. You chose to be in your own little world and think everything was bed of roses. It was rosy but it was full of thorns. I constantly got scratched and nicked everywhere I turned.

Left      Day after day your screaming and yelling became a part of the norm. Your words made me feel like I was a piece of wood being chopped by an axe. You came close to unknowingly destroy me but I wasn't going down like that. Every day I woke up with the hope to see you love me back as you did. And everyday with my attempt to achieve that love and closeness from you I kept loosing you more and more.

You should have given me the love and respect that I always craved for, and treated me like before. But time has passed to dwell on all these things you could have done …

perhaps then I would have never left!

@ adreamygal - No, this one is not about myself. I just thought about how it feels when love changes, and so wrote this. Nothing related to me! Have always been a happy soul by God's grace. :)

Thanks for dropping by! :)

Ohh if it is not about you then you are an awesome writer. Cos you actually made me feel that you wrote it out of breakup pain. Your words are so convincing !

@ Anita - Thanks a lot. Those words mean a lot to me! :)

I can relate so emotionally to this. The words of a song that i've been recently playing again and again are:
I need to be strong.
Oh, I won't forget you.
I need to be strong.
Oh, I won't forget you.
In life, we experience different stages. Alas not all relationships are meant to survive, but we must try to remember the good times, and let those bad ones fade away

@ Larry - Yeah Larry I quite agree with you. Thanks for your visit here! :)

some words unsaid that remain in hearts are what causes the pain that none can heal. it said the same thing.. yet again creating all new impact. perhaps i won't have left...
we keep on wondering "what if?" its better if we ask why and get over the confusion or misunderstanding.
nice piece.

@ Deepika - The best thing to do is try to forget about the past and move on! :)

That is easier said than done... Isn't it?

Deepika Vasudeva said...

But that is easier said than done.... Ain't it?

IS it necessary to be loved back when you love someone?..it is the only question i would like to ask you after reading this.

Romeo Das said...

This was a break-up letter and is written when the love that existed between the two faded away. So over here love was there between them previously and then everything changed!

And to answer your question NO it is not necessary to be loved back when you love someone!

Anyways, thanks for dropping by!
Keep visiting :)
